Local Charity To Be Honoured At Palliative Home Dedication - April 3, 2007

New Care Facility to be Dedicated in Memory of Mark Rotondi

Windsor ON -- The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County Inc. will be opening its 2 new palliative care homes to the public for a special dedication ceremony on Tuesday April 10, 2007 at 6:00 p.m.

The facility will be dedicated in memory of Mark Rotondi on behalf of In Honour of the Ones We Love, Inc., the local, all-volunteer, charity that has been a leading funder of the project for the past 3 years.

Mark Rotondi, who died from cancer in 2003, was a member of the Canadian Italian Business and Professional Association as well as a committee member of In Honour of the Ones We Love, Inc.

Additionally, the Canadian Italian Business and Professional Association will have one of the home's suites dedicated in recognition of their support.

The dedication will be held at the Hospice Village (6038 Empress Street) and will include a tour of the homes as well as a private reception.

Local media is encouraged to cover this event.
In addition to our signature fundraising events, we also host the annual Chilifest, charity pasta dinners and various educational forums.
We are also grateful to be affiliated with numerous third party events.
