Don Langlois

 March 10, 1954 - April 7, 2026

Donald Paul Langlois passed away peacefully, leaving a legacy defined by laughter, deep loyalty, and an unwavering devotion to his family. The beloved husband of Rebecca Marie Langlois for 46 years, Don proved that true commitment is a marathon, a feat that deserves its own trophy given his questionable loyalty to the Detroit Lions and Toronto Maple Leafs.

Don’s greatest pride was his children and the lives they built. He was the devoted father of Ryan Langlois (Lyndsay), Jocelyn Jarnevic (Matt) and Ashley Abdallah (Anthony). Nothing brought a spark to his eyes quite like his grandchildren Pierson, James, Lucas, Leo, Oliver, Jack, Mickey, and Joelle who were the absolute lights of his life. He was a committed grandfather who cherished every moment spent in their company, leaving them with a lifetime of stories and smiles.

The son of the late Paul and Donna Langlois, and brother to the late Blake Langlois, Don is survived by his sisters Peggy Langlois and Sandra Mullen.

Dearest son in law to Euleen McCann and the late Thomas McCann.

Don was a man of action and spirit. As a past National Ski Patroller, he likely rescued people just so he’d have an audience for his jokes.

He was also an avid golfer, and enjoyed time out on his pontoon boat. He found his peace in the simple joys of life: the energy of a live rock concert, the steady glow of a backyard bonfire, and the company of good friends over an OV. He was the life of every party and a jack of all trades. He will be remembered as a man who lived loudly and loved deeply. He was a pillar for his wife, a guide for his children, and a constant source of joy for his grandchildren. He loved life, a good laugh, sports, his family and never passed up a lively debate.

While his absence will leave a void that cannot be filled, his humour and warmth will continue to echo at every family gathering and around every bonfire.

If you so desire, donations can be made to In Honour of The Ones We Love in his name.

Visitation will be held Thursday April 9, 2026 from 3-5pm & 7-9pm, and will resume Friday April 10th, 2026 from 10am until time of Service at 11am at FAMILIES FIRST 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor. (519) 969-5841. Cremation to follow.
