"Kids Beating Cancer" Honourable Ninjas

In 2008, In Honour of the Ones We Love, Inc introduced “Kids Beating Cancer” Honourable Ninjas; a Martial Arts Program for children with life-threatening illnesses or special needs.

Kids Beating Cancer is a therapeutic program that teaches children to train in the “art” of martial arts, acquiring special skills to accomplish their mission to fight their challenges. Our goal is for children to envision their illness as something they conquer, that will never conquer them!

It builds self-esteem, confidence, self-respect, self-discipline along with special breathing techniques which improves focus and concentration.  The children learn how to work with others and follow direction from their instructors.  These skills contribute to their well-being physically, spiritually and emotionally.
